Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Hydrocarbon Division has announced recruitment for the position of Assistant General Manager (Electrical & Instrumentation Execution) at its Hazira Manufacturing Facility (MFF), Surat, Gujarat. This is a permanent position on the L&T payroll for experienced professionals in the Oil & Gas construction sector.

The selected candidate will lead the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) team, manage project execution activities, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure smooth construction operations while maintaining quality and safety standards.
 

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

Lead and manage the Electrical & Instrumentation team
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members
Handle manpower planning, shift management, and performance reviews

Project Execution

Manage E&I-related construction and project execution activities
Monitor project schedules, quality standards, and resource utilization
Ensure timely completion of project milestones

Client & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with clients, suppliers, procurement teams, and construction groups
Handle client requirements, scope changes, and technical deliverables
Conduct project review meetings and execution planning sessions

Technical Responsibilities

Provide troubleshooting support for Electrical & Instrumentation systems
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Coordinate with design and engineering teams for project execution

Compliance & Operations

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
Resolve technical queries to maintain uninterrupted operations
Implement corrective measures to address project delays
 

Eligibility Criteria
 

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
15–20 years of experience in Oil & Gas construction projects
Strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation systems
Experience in EPC project execution and project management
Excellent leadership and client management skills
