Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is inviting applications for the position of Senior Geologist – Development at its Navi Mumbai location. This is a full-time permanent role in the upstream oil and gas segment, suitable for professionals with 6 to 8 years of experience in integrated subsurface development.

The selected candidate will be responsible for reservoir characterization and geomodelling, supporting field development and evaluation of new venture opportunities. Key duties include building and maintaining geocellular reservoir models, integrating geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and engineering data, and ensuring high standards of technical quality control.

The role also involves collaboration with reservoir engineers for simulation support, supervision of 15CA/CB-equivalent geological data workflows, evaluation of advanced modelling software, mentoring junior geoscientists, and contributing to new business and asset evaluation projects. Strong expertise in Petrel software, subsurface interpretation, and complex reservoir environments is essential.
