Rolls-Royce is hiring a Finance Lead – Revenue Recognition in Bengaluru to manage IFRS-15 compliant revenue accounting, inventory valuation, and month-end financial processes within its Global Business Services (GBS) operations.

Rolls-Royce GBS India is seeking an experienced Finance Lead – Revenue Recognition to support its finance operations in Bengaluru. This is a full-time, permanent individual contributor role focused on delivering accurate revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and financial reporting in compliance with IFRS 15 and group accounting policies.

The role involves close collaboration with business units, finance managers, and external stakeholders to ensure timely period closures, high-quality financial insights, and strong control compliance.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
 

Service Revenue Recognition

Review contracts and recognize revenue as per IFRS-15 and Group guidelines
Advise business units on service job revenue recognition and costing
Maintain SAP internal orders and track job completion status
Perform WIP calculations, settlements, and month-end close activities
Prepare service sales margin analysis and balance sheet schedules

Spare Parts & Inventory Accounting

Review spare parts revenue and cost adjustments (ILS, RIM systems)
Monitor inventory transactions and resolve abnormalities
Manage GRIR clearings and inventory schedules
Conduct stock counts and inventory valuation per audit requirements

Core Management

Process core deposit documentation and discharges
Reconcile SAP balances with TCMS and intercompany accounts

🔹 Eligibility Criteria:
 

Qualification: Qualified CA / CMA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience
Technical Skills: IFRS-15, SAP ECC, revenue recognition, inventory accounting
Other Skills: Strong stakeholder management, Microsoft Office proficiency
