DCM Shriram is inviting applications for the role of Field Operations Engineer – Chemical Process (ECH Plant) at its Bharuch (Jhagadia), Gujarat facility. This is a full-time permanent position in the chemical manufacturing sector, suitable for candidates with 5–10 years of experience in plant operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring Epichlorohydrin (ECH) plant processes, including chlorination and glycerine-based operations, ensuring safe and efficient plant performance.
Key responsibilities include executing field activities such as valve operations, sampling, equipment checks, and line-up activities, as well as handling plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency operations. The role also involves monitoring critical process parameters, coordinating with DCS/panel operators, and troubleshooting operational issues.
Candidates must ensure strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process safety norms, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards. A Diploma in Chemical Engineering is required.
