Amazon’s Transportation Technology division is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer I to join the ShipTech QA team. This role focuses on assuring the quality of complex software systems that power Amazon’s global transportation and delivery network, enabling accurate shipment tracking and on-time customer deliveries.

The Quality Assurance Engineer will own end-to-end quality for major deliverables, working closely with Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, and partner teams. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining comprehensive test strategies, writing and executing test cases, performing functional, regression, performance, and security testing, and conducting defect triage and root cause analysis.

The role requires 2+ years of QA engineering experience, strong exposure to automation and manual testing, and experience with UI and API automation tools such as Selenium and SOAPUI, along with API and mobile testing. Candidates should be comfortable programming in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The ShipTech QA team plays a central role in driving quality best practices, improving testing productivity through automation, and supporting high-velocity software releases that enhance customer satisfaction across Amazon’s worldwide operations.
