Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is inviting applications for the position of Geologist – Conventional Reservoirs at its Navi Mumbai operations. This is a full-time, permanent onsite role within the Upstream Oil & Gas segment.

The selected candidate will provide integrated geological insights to support exploration and development of conventional reservoirs. Responsibilities include regional geological framework development, subsurface analysis, seismic interpretation, stratigraphic modeling, reservoir characterization, and contribution to well planning and drilling activities.

The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary geoscience teams and operational assets to deliver robust geological interpretations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities: 
 

Develop regional geological frameworks using seismic, geochemical, and field data
Perform reservoir architecture and characterization studies
Interpret seismic data, geological maps, and tectonic models
Build stratigraphic frameworks, cross-sections, and depositional models
Generate structural, thickness, tectonic, gravity, and magnetic maps
Conduct geological fieldwork and outcrop studies
Maintain wellsite geoscience databases
Provide geoscientific inputs for drilling, appraisal, development, and infill wells

🔹 Eligibility Criteria:
 

Qualification: Master’s degree in Geology
Experience: 1–3 years in subsurface geoscience or related industry roles
Technical Knowledge: Tectonics, sedimentology, geochemistry, structural geology, basin analysis
