Bachelor of Science in Optometry is a 4 years, 8 semesters program offered by various universities in India. This course will provide the student with a comprehensive understanding of the eyes and vision, the various systems that exist within them, and the various methods that must be used to diagnose and treat some of the problems that may occur with the eye. These are built into the program to enable complementing theoretical learning with practical sessions that make B. Sc. stand out in the field of optometry.

Students will be able to understand the fundamentals of vision science, from ocular to vision optics and eye diseases. The school's curriculum is designed to teach the fundamentals of optometry, including eye exams, contact lens vision, and refractive error management techniques. Moreover, students will be trained to use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and get practical exposure equally in optometric clinic or hospital settings.
