Overview:

Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Science is a four-and-a-half-year undergraduate course  in Ayurveda and offered  at various universities and naturopathy institutes across India. Students will be introduced to the concept of holistic health care. The course includes one year of compulsory internships to enhance the theoretical and practical knowledge of the students.

The program is based on naturopathy, a system of diagnosis and treatment of the human body with the help of nature and applied to keep the human body naturally healthy through diet therapy, fasting therapy, mud therapy, hydrotherapy, etc. The course offers Yoga Vidya, which consists of Yoga Asanas, Yoga Pranayama, and Yoga Meditation with Yoga Philosophy. 

Graduates of the BNYS program are prepared to diagnose health disorders and treat various ailments and diseases without the use of surgery or drugs. This course enables students to learn how naturopathy can be used in the delivery of comprehensive health care services. The course prepares the BNYS graduates for the wellness industry, which is moving towards recognising the importance of integrative healthcare.
