Overview

An Ayurvedic Massage Practitioner (AMP) is a skilled professional in the field of Ayurveda who specialises in therapeutic massage techniques for natural healing and holistic wellness. Using traditional Ayurvedic methods, herbal oils, and detoxification therapies, AMPs work to restore balance to the body’s doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—while promoting improved circulation, muscle relaxation, and stress relief.

Today, Ayurvedic massage is widely recognised as an effective wellness practice for managing fatigue, reducing anxiety, and enhancing overall health. AMPs are in high demand in Ayurvedic clinics, wellness centres, luxury spas, and holistic resorts, where they deliver treatments that combine ancient wisdom with modern standards of care. By pursuing this profession, individuals gain career opportunities in the growing wellness and alternative healthcare industries, both in India and globally. For anyone interested in Ayurveda, massage therapy, or holistic healing, becoming an AMP offers a meaningful path towards improving lives through natural medicine.
