By NCTA Team Last Updated: September 11, 2025Overview
An Ayurvedic Massage Practitioner (AMP) is a wellness professional trained in the ancient science of Ayurveda, focusing on therapeutic massage techniques that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. By applying specialized massage methods, herbal oils, and detoxification techniques, practitioners restore balance to the body’s doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), improve circulation, relieve stress, and support holistic health. They play a vital role in wellness centers, spas, and Ayurvedic clinics by offering treatments that blend ancient traditions with modern approaches to health and relaxation.
