They create personalized wellness regimens using Ayurvedic concepts, including nutrition, lifestyle routines, herbal knowledge, and stress management approaches. Practitioners provide guidance for preventative healthcare, chronic lifestyle management, and natural healing, combining old wisdom with contemporary wellness methods.
Course Description:
The National Council of Training Academy (NCTA) offers a 12-month Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner (AWP) curriculum with 600 hours of advanced online instruction. This curriculum is intended to provide an in-depth understanding of Ayurvedic philosophy and its practical application in health management. It includes advanced topics like Ayurvedic anatomy and physiology, herbal medicine, nutrition, Panchakarma overview, illness prevention, lifestyle counseling, and holistic health practices.
Students will learn to analyze individual constitutions (Prakriti), detect imbalances (Vikriti), and create personalised Ayurvedic lifestyle and nutrition regimens through interactive online lectures, assignments, case studies, and hands-on training. This program is suitable for those looking to advance their careers in Ayurveda, wellness centers, yoga retreats, and integrative healthcare, as well as those who want to work independently as Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioners.
