The Bachelor of Science in Optometry is a 3-year undergraduate course divided into 6 semesters, and is provided by several colleges in India as well as universities. The course will give students the full knowledge of eye care—examination, diagnosis, and treatment of these disorders. The students will develop theoretical knowledge and practical competencies within the subject area of optometry, concerning the structural and functional anatomy of the eye, optics, optical devices, and modern methods of vision correction.
