VMware is looking for an experienced Executive Solutions Architect to join its engineering team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on designing enterprise cloud architectures, guiding large customers on private cloud strategies, and enabling the adoption of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions.

Role Overview
 

The Executive Solutions Architect will collaborate with enterprise customers and internal VMware teams to design, implement, and scale enterprise cloud solutions. The role requires strong expertise in cloud architecture, virtualization technologies, and enterprise infrastructure planning.

Key Responsibilities
 

Provide architectural guidance for enterprise customers implementing private cloud and VMware Cloud Foundation solutions.
Work with enterprise executives and sales teams to drive cloud adoption and consumption of VMware solutions.
Lead technical proof-of-concepts (POCs), pilots, and solution demonstrations.
Develop future-state architecture roadmaps for enterprise cloud platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, professional services, and advanced solution architects.
Contribute to technical proposals and architecture reviews for customer solutions.
Support regional initiatives and strengthen architectural capabilities within VMware teams.

Performance Goals
 

First 3 Months

Gain deep understanding of VMware enterprise cloud vision, product portfolio, and licensing frameworks.
Build strong relationships with enterprise customer teams and internal stakeholders.

After 3 Months

Drive technical architecture strategies for enterprise clients.
Provide cloud strategy guidance and help customers build scalable enterprise cloud environments.

Required Skills
 

Strong knowledge of VMware technologies and private cloud infrastructure.
Experience designing enterprise cloud architectures.
Expertise in virtualization, cloud services, and infrastructure automation.
Ability to work with enterprise customers and deliver technical consulting solutions.

Eligibility Criteria
 

Education: Graduate in any discipline; postgraduate qualification preferred.
Experience: 9–13 years in cloud architecture, virtualization technologies, or enterprise infrastructure solutions.
