Overview:

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy is a full-time undergraduate course that consists of 4 years, 8 semesters and  can be done from any universities throughout India. The course is designed to enable students with a deep comprehension of philosophical conceptions, theories, and arguments and to engage in a critical study of the basic questions of existence, knowledge, ethics, and society. The course allows students to face practical issues through theoretical exploration so that they can have a base of philosophical reasoning on actual issues.

The curriculum also focuses on lectures, discussions, assignments, and independent research, which make it possible to attain an all-round degree, both in classic and contemporary philosophy. It will enable the student to develop their critical thinking and analytic skills while enhancing problem-solving abilities for career opportunities in academics, research areas, public policy-making and on ethical issues.
