Overview: 

The Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Mathematics is a 3-year undergraduate program comprised of 6 semesters offered by multiple colleges and universities across India.  At the end of this program, students will gain substantial knowledge in principles, theories and applications of mathematics. It increases students' understanding of mathematics in a number of areas, such as algebra, calculus, geometry, statistics and mathematical analysis. It will provide the student with an explanation of topics related to pure and applied mathematics. Students develop the skills of analysis and problem-solving fundamental for working with complex problems across many fields. 

This program equally emphasizes and balances the process of learning theory and practical application solved in exercises, mathematical modeling and research projects. Involvement in seminars, workshops and internships at various parts of the program will help to enhance the knowledge of students so that they can apply mathematical concepts to real-life situations.  Graduates from this program will have various opportunities in fields such as education, finance, research and data analysis.
