Overview

Master of Arts in Hindi is a two-year postgraduate course that comprises four semesters. It provides advanced knowledge of Hindi language, literature, and cultural studies to students. It caters to an in-depth study of the classical and modern ages of Hindi literature, including poetry, prose, drama, and linguistics. The program not only enhances students' proficiency in the Hindi language but also introduces them to the historical development of Hindi literature, modern literary theory, and its applicability in the present time.

This course develops in students a profound appreciation for the rich tradition and contemporary application of Hindi and offers them an outlet for literary criticism, translation studies, and linguistics.   3. Comparative Literature: Hindi and Other Indian Languages
  4. Hindi Fiction (Novel and Short Story)
